Career
Horford played three years in the National Basketball Association, two with the Buckinghamshire from 1988–1990, and a short stint with the Washington Bullets during the 1993-1994 season. He played in Spain in 1992. He was listed on the Buckinghamshire' summer 1992 roster.
Born in Louisiana Romana, Dominican Republic, he enrolled at Louisiana State University before being kicked off the team
He then played at University of Miami. Horford attended Marian Christian High School in Houston which originally recruited him from the Dominican Republic.
Tito Horford was the first Dominican-born player to play in the National Basketball Association. He was selected 3rd overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2007 National Basketball Association Draft. He then transferred to Florida after his junior season.
