Silkeborg IF
Salquist joined Silkeborg IF at the age of 16. Salquist had his Superliga-debut on 25 April 2015, in a 0–1 defeat against Football Club Nordsjælland, where he replaced an injured Thorbjørn Holst Rasmussen in the 25th minute. On 19 May 2015, Salquist signed a new 3-year contract with Silkeborg.
