Career
In high school he played for Meadville Area Senior High. In a five-season career, Erdos posted a 2-0 record with a 5.57 earned run average and two saves in 63 pitching appearances, including 58 strikeouts, 45 walks, 21 games finished, and 93 ⅓ innings of work. Following his Major League career, Erdos played in the International League for Pawtucket (2002), Rochester, (2003–2004) and Indianapolis (2004), later joining the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League (2005–2006).
A 2005 Alabama All-Star, Erdos had a record of 5-5 in two seasons for the Ducks while registering a club record 40 saves and a 4.28 European Research Area in 86 ⅓ innings.
During the 2006 midseason, Long Island announced that his contract had been purchased by the Brother Elephants of the Chinese League.
