Journalist. Born in Yamanashi Prefecture. His pseudonym was Chinjo. Started Yokohamna Shimpo newspaper (1902), then became managing editor of the the Niroku, Shirnpo, Honolulu shampoo and Hawaii Shimpo. Was managing director of the Japan Newspapers Association.
