After graduating from Tokyo Academy of Fine Arts, Tokusaburo Masamune proceeded to France for further studies in 1914.
Career
In France Tokusaburo Masamune became a member of Nika Fine Arts Association and sent 36 of his paintings, done in Franсе, for exhibition in Nika's 3rd art exhibition where they were favorably received in 1915. He returned home the following year and entered 13 more pictures to Nika's 4th exhibition.
