Foreign a number of years he was heard on KFAB in Omaha. He left KFAB on October 26, 2011. His departure was due to Clear Channel Radio making cutbacks across the country.
Becka has started blogging and podcasting at tombecka.com.
While living in Albuquerque he went to an open mike night at Laffs comedy club and figured he could do just as well as some of the people he was seeing there. The host of the open mike night was Marc Maron.
He went on stage and got some good laughs and was soon spending all the time he could at the club and fighting for stage time. Becka has hosted shows on KMBZ in Kansas City.
He has written a book called There"s Number Business without the Show.
