Career
Growing up as a Chelsea and Fulham supporter, Richards signed his first professional contract with Chelsea"s rival Fulham after a six-week trial in 2011. Ahead of the 2013-2014 season, Richards signed a new contract until 2014, with the option of another year. On 28 February 2014, Richards joined AFC Wimbledon on loan until the end of the 2013-2014 season, prior to his loan move he made sixteen appearances for the Fulham Under-21 team and scored one goal.
Richards made his Football League debut for AFC Wimbledon in a 0–0 draw away against Fleetwood Town on 1 March 2014.
