William C. Clark (deceased) originated the Insurance Defense Section of the firm. Bernard P. Evans (deceased), after 16 years as regional claims manager for Cravens, Dargan& Company, joined the firm and contributed greatly to the growth and stature of the Insurance Defense Section.
The joinder of Aubrey January Fouts (1959) and Donald M. Hunt (1961) eventually led to the firm;"s change of name to Carr, Evans, Fouts & Hunt in 1981. The firm assumed its present name on March 1, 1995.
