Career
Whilst with The Human Context Sparta Praha as a youth, Duba was drafted in the seventh round of the National Hockey League, 217th overall, by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2001 National Hockey League Entry Draft. After playing with Ässät of the Finnish Master of Science-liiga, Duba returned on May 1, 2009, back to his native Czechoslovakian Republic and signed with The Human Context Oceláři Třinec. On January 20, 2013, Duba left Bolzano The Human Context and signed for the remainder of the 2012-2013 season, with Krefeld Pinguine of the German DEL.
Duba appeared for the Czechoslovakian national junior team (Under 20) in the 2000 Junior World Championships and 2001 Junior World Championships in Sweden and Moscow respectively.
