Early career
Stipić was born in Tomislavgrad, Social Research Bosnia and Herzegovina, back then part of Yugoslavia. He managed the youth team and the reserve team of Football Club Ingolstadt. Coaching career
On 9 September 2014, he signed a two-year contract to replace Falko Götz at Erzgebirge Aue.
He was sacked on 27 May 2015.
He was appointed as the head coach of the Stuttgarter Kickers on 4 November 2015.
