Career
He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Resolution Games and one of the people behind Candy Crush Saga. Palm first learned to program games for the Commodore 64 home computer in 1986 with Martin Vilcans. In early 2015 Palm officially launched his Resolution Games virtual reality gaming studio and became the Chief Executive Officer. The new business is based in Stockholm and currently employs three – Palm, Martin Vilcans and Carl-Arvid Ewerbring.
This is the fifth company that Palm has helped to set up.
Prior to this, Palm was the spokesperson and games guru for King Digital Entertainment. lieutenant went public at $6 billion on the strength of their success with Candy Crush Saga.
He also founded Jadestone, the Game Trail, and the Swedish game accelerator Stugan. Palm founded an accelerator called Stugan (or cabin in English).
He is inviting 20 aspiring developers to spend two summer months in a cabin in the Swedish woods during the summer of 2015 to work on their upcoming games.
During this non-profit initiative the young developers will also learn the tricks of marketing, business models and entrepreneurship.
