He is best known for his role as Tyler Benchfield in "Life Goes On". Tommy left the show in 1991. lieutenant was during this time Puett"s popularity raised him to the level of teen idol appearing monthly in teen publications.
Tommy is the older brother of former Kids Incorporated actress Devyn Puett.
In 1990 Puett recorded his only popular album Life Goes On released by Scotti Brothers Records. Devyn sang back up vocals on the album.
