Takahashi"s main medium is installation art, often made of rubbish. She has exhibited her work since at Beaconsfield, London (1998), the Saatchi Gallery in the 1999 New Neurotic realism exhibition, University of California, Los Angeles"s Hammer Gallery (2002-2003), the Serpentine Gallery in London, the De Louisiana Warr Pavilion (2010). and her work has been collected by the Tate. In 2000 she was shortlisted for the Turner Prize.
