Career
He climbed the Eiger Nordwand in the age of seventeen and belongs to the youngest Nordwand climbers. He is deployed as a medical service soldier and army mountain guide in Kempten. He enjoys mountain climbing combined with mountain biking, skiing and others
In 2002, the United Nations International Year of Mountains, he and Walter Hölzler from Thalkirchdorf climbed over the three summits Piz Palü in a Hat-trick within 24 hours.
Mountain running 2000: Ski mountaineering = Patrouille des Glaciers 7th (and 2nd "seniors II" ranking) as well as German record, together with Franz Graßl and Martin Echtler 8th (and 6th in the "international men" ranking), together with Franz Graßl and Stefan Klinger.
