Career
Prior to this he had co-founded Fresher Information Corporation, an object oriented database management software firm. He eventually left Virginia Software (the owners of the San Francisco property) after Virginia Software shut down the systems-hardware business. He also co-authored Practical Linux.
Later, he founded with several former Virginia employees, including Greg Kucharo, Steve Westmoreland, Joseph Arruda, San Mehat, Chris DiBona and Craig Ross.
The MMOG called Rekonstruction was supposed to be the final product, but the company folded after 18 months (and ironically after a feature article in Forbes Magazine). He has since held positions with several other Silicon Valley start ups and resides in Half Moon Bay, California.
