Very early on Tony K was surrounded by music his father and uncle both musicians and his mother a singer. He was introduced to Hip Hop music at a young age listening to the likes of 2pac, Eminem, The Notorious Bjarke Ingels Group & Nas.

Tony K started rapping and producing at only 13 years old, he was inspired to start after hearing the 2pac song "Changes". Tony and his family immigrated to Detroit, Michigan from Baghdad, Iraq in 1991 escaping what was then the Gulf War. In 2005 Tony teamed up with a local friend by the name of "Peleboy" and together they released what would be their first independent musical release titled "Partners In Crime", shortly after Tony decided to pursue a solo rap career.
Tony"s unique sound and determination has granted him the ability to work with rapper’s and producer’s such as Kurupt, Royce Da 5’9”, Boldy James, Cappadonna, Bizzy Bone, and many more lending his production, songwriting, and engineering skills to their music In 2007 Tony was invited on to the Tyra Banks show for remixing the shows theme song, shortly after he released his single “Wind & Go Down” featuring singer Sean Kingston followed by the release of his first solo album “By Any Means Necessary”.
Soon Tony started to release a series of mixtape’s such as "Angels & Demons"(2012) and “YNOT” (2013) and began receiving some attention. He has been called the “next best thing in Hip Hop” and many believe that he has something special to offer.
Tony K"s latest mixtape, Wasteland, was released on June 30, 2015.
