He also has a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the National University of Singapore (NUS Grad. Medical School) with a specialization in East-West Comparative Philosophy. His research interest was in Heidegger"s philosophy of ontological thinking and dialogue. His current research and publications is related to the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze and Jacques Derrida, on the topic of thinking and dialogue with the Other.
