Education
Toro Yokoyama graduated from Tokyo University with a degree in agriculture (1918).
Career
After graduating Toro Yokoyama became a non regular staff member of Sericulture Research Institute. He was conferred a doctorate, Agr.D., for his research in mulberry moths (1926) and two years later was confirmed in his post with the research institute and at the same time was appointed adviser to the Japanese research institute in Korea.
