In 1928, graduated from Law Department of Tokyo University.
Career
In 1946, entered Foreign Ministry and served in France, China, Holland and in other countries. The same year, he became director of Treaties Bureau, in 1950 - chief of Overseas Agency in Paris and later served as Minister to France and Minister to Switzerland. Since April 1957 - Ambassador to Canada.
