Studied painting under Suisho Nishiyama. Since 1928 when her painting “A Little Girl” was accepted by the 9th Teiten Exhibition, continued to display her paintings at governmental exhibitions every year. The paintings “Woman” and “]Corning” were awarded special prizes, respectively, at the 13th and 14th Teiten exhibitions. “Evening” displayed at the 15th Exhibition was purchased by the government. Based on the traditional technique of Kyoto, she added a modern touch and succeeded in producing paintings of freshness and vigor. Instructor of the Womens Fine Arts School.
