Career
After graduation Toshimi Ishibashi served as a sub-assistant in the mental ward of the University's hospital, he joined the Matsuzawa Hospital. Later worked as assistant professor at Hokkaido University. Was conferred a doctorate for his thesis titled "Studies on Progressive Paralysis by Clinical Psychological Tests" (1933). Had been professor at Tohoku University since 1948. Is author of a book on cerebral peculiarities.
