In 1891 he graduated from Tokyo University and got L.L.D. He studied international commercial law and joined the law office of Dr. Takeo Kikuehi.
Career
Since 1906 he started practicing law by himself. In 1919, during his visiting the Philippines, he was made an honorary member of the Philippine Bar Association.
