Tetsuka Toshio graduated from Political Science Course of Tokyo University in 1916.
Tetsuka Toshio entered Kawasaki Shipyard and served successively as chief of Warehouse and Labor Sections, director of General Affairs Department and vice-president of the shipyard. Became president of Kawasaki Heavy Industries in 1950.
Held additional posts of director of Kobe Broadcasting Corporation, vice-president of Kansai Employers Association, Hyogo Prefectural Employers Association, permanent director of Kansai Federation of Economic Associations and Japan Shipbuilding Industry Association, and director of Japan Industrial Association, Kansai Industrial Rehabilitation Council and Kobe Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
