Toshio Tonooka graduated from Spinning and Weaving Department of Tokyo Higher Technical School (1929).
Career
Toshio Tonooka served as managing director of Tonori Weaving Plant owned by his father and superintendent of Ashikaga Plant of Kokka Kogyo Kaisha (Kokka Industrial Company) (from 1943). He held numerous additional posts including those of director of Tobu Gomu Kogyokai (Eastern Japan Rubber Industry Association) and chairman of Ashikaga Branch of Rotary Club.
