Career
After Toyo Tsusaka found a private school at Kyoto, he was appointed teacher to his clan school at Tsu, Ise Province (1789), of which he became director (1819). Tsusaka wrote several treatises and commentaries, including Rongo Gutoku-kai (Commentary of Confucian Tenets).
