Career
Toyota Takeoka began life as a clerk, and later rose to found the Japan Marine Products Company. He was a director of Minatogawa Tochi (Real Estate) Company, but found time to help in the restoration of shrines, temples and the founding of new schools. Was for some time head of the Kobe Historical Research Association.
