Career
Selected with the 31st pick in the 2005 National Draft, West is considered a project ruckman for the Cats, having spent his first two seasons learning the craft of ruckwork in the VFL. He is noted for his good mobility and athleticism. West made his American Federation of Labor-Congress debut in Round 1 of the 2008 season against Portuguese Adelaide. As of 2014 American Federation of Labor-Congress season, West plays for Brisbane Lions.
