Trevor produced and directed snowboard film Pipe Dreams and science television series, SciQ. Trevor Doerksen has written numerous articles about the internet and video technology. He is also the author of a chapter in Handbook on Information Technologies for Education and Training. At the University of Calgary on Content Repurposing Theory in 2002.
In addition to founding Mobovivo and serving as its Chief Executive Officer, Trevor Doerksen has written numerous articles about the internet and video technology.
He is also the author of a chapter in Handbook on Information Technologies for Education and Training. In July 2010, Trevor was named one of Alberta"s 50 most influential people.
In December 2012, Trevor was named one of the twenty most influential thinkers in the world in social television and second screen.
He is also the founder of entertainment software company MoboVivo. Mobovivo announced with its client Entertainment and Sports Programming Network in November, 2013 the "Entertainment and Sports Programming Network Sync App" for the 2014 Fédération internationale de football association World Cup and Trevor Doerksen was quoted as saying, “Sports audiences everywhere are using their smartphones and tablets to get information about games, teams and players, Entertainment and Sports Programming Network is working with Mobovivo to engage audiences on second screens and deliver on that vision.” In April 2010, Trevor was awarded the People"s Choice Award for Entrepreneur of the Year by Digital Alberta.
