Career
He played in college for the UTSA Roadrunners football team Early He is the son of Yu-Tandrain Smith and the late Reginald Wade. Triston Wade began his career at UTSA as a part of the "Original 18" in their inaugural season in 2011.
He earned the starting role as a safety his freshman year and started every game the next 3 seasons, and graduated after the 2014 season.

Triston was signed by the Seattle Seahawks on May 8, 2015 after going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft.
