Tsutomu Kojima studied at the Waseda University, which he graduated from in 1924.
After graduation from the university Tsutomu Kojima took up writing as a profession. His Arst novel "Things Above The Horizon" which was published in Waseda Bungaku offended the authorities and it was banned. Subsequently joined the Proletarian Writer's Association. Among his notable works are "Bell of Koln" and "Distant View."
