He graduated from Engraving Department of Tokyo Higher Handicraft School in 1926. He also graduated from Tokyo Academy of Fine Arts in 1931.
Career
He received personal instructions from Daimu Tatehata. His work displayed at the 13th Teiten (1932) titled "Necklaced Girl" won the Special Prize. He was formerly member of the Nitten Examining Board.
