Education high school, Saint Paris. Kansas State Agricultural College (non graduate).

Career

Admitted to Kansas bar, 1880. Practiced at Beloit; receiver public moneys, Oberlin, Kansas, under appointment of President Cleveland, 1885-1889. Removed to Cripple Creek, Colorado, 1901.

Member Colorado State Senate, 1907-1911.

Appointed presiding judge Colorado Court of Appeals, 1911-1912. Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Colorado, 1913-1923.
