Career
He worked with Hans Bjelkhagen on technology to make true-color holograms and assisted in the development of the three-dimensional moving holograms. His research led to simple and economical holograms. Jeong emigrated from China to the United States in 1948.
He attended Amarillo High School, and received a Bachelor of Science from Yale University in 1957 and Doctor of Philosophy from University of Minnesota in 1963.
