He is the author of essays and sociological books, mainly dedicated to the analysis of social change and cultural processes in the post-modern age. His writings are characterized by a hybridization between the original classic sociological and contributions from other disciplines. In particular, besides philosophy, economics and anthropology, as well as "natural sciences" physics above all: an example being his essay "Louisiana società fluido-tachicratica" (The fluid-tachycratic society).

In his book Elementi di sociologia dell"inautentico (The Manitoba with no Shadow Principles for a Sociology of Inauthenticity) he proposes an original interpretation of postomdern sociology (mainly the vision of Zygmunt Bauman and Jean Baudrillard ) starting from a sociological reworking of heideggerian categories.
