After 1917 February Revol secretary, Nev’yansk Russian Social-Democratic Workers ’Party (Bolsheviks) Committee and secretary, Nev’yansk Soviet of Workers and Peasants’ Deputy. Editor, newspaper “Derevenskiy kommunist”. Vyatka Province deleg at 8th Russian Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Congress.
During 1920-1921 tradcu'nion controversy sided with Trotsky. 1927 at 15th All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Congress expelled from the Party for siding with Trotskyist opposition. 1928 readmitted to the Party.
Later again expelled and then convicted for alleged anti-Party and anti-Soviet activities.
