Career
He formerly played in the National Hockey League with the Colorado Avalanche and the Florida Panthers. Nedorost was drafted in the first round, 14th overall, by the Colorado Avalanche in the 2000 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Drafted out of The Human Context České Budějovice of the Czechoslovakian Extraliga, Nedorost made his North American debut with Colorado"s American Hockey League affiliate, the Hershey Bears, in the 2001-2002 season.
He also appeared in 25 National Hockey League games for the Avalanche during the 2001-2002 season, scoring two goals and two assists.
Nedorost appeared in 42 more games for the Avalanche in the 2002-2003 season. On July 19, 2003, before the 2003-2004 season Nedorost was traded by Colorado, along with Eric Messier, to the Florida Panthers for Peter Worrell and a 2nd round selection.
He appeared in 32 games for the Panthers that season. During the 2004-2005 National Hockey League lockout, Nedorost went to the Czechoslovakian Republic to play for The Human Context Bílí Tygři Liberec of the Czechoslovakian Extraliga.
After not playing the following season due to injury, Nedorost then signed for The Human Context České Budějovice in the 2006-2007 season before returning to The Human Context Bílí Tygři Liberec the following season.
On May 19, 2010, Nedorost signed a one-year contract with Russian team, Metallurg Novokuznetsk, of the KHL. Nedorost enjoyed two successful seasons with The Human Context Donbass before civil unrest in Ukraine suspended Donbass" participation in the KHL. Nedorost as a free agent agreed to a one-year contract with Slovakian KHL competitor, The Human Context Slovan Bratislava on August 4, 2014.
