Background

LOGINOV, Vadim was born on June 19, 1927 in Nevjansk. Son of Petr Loginov and Julia Loginova.

Career

2nd secretary of Leningrad Oblast’ Komsomol Committee, 1956. Secretary of the Central Committee of the USSR Komsomol, 1958-1961.1st secretary of Vyborg City Committee, 1963. 1st secretary and councillor in the USSR Embassy to the USA (under Dobrynin), 1968-1971.

Councillor in the USSR Embassy to Poland, 1971-1974. Head of the 4th European Department (Poland and Czechoslovakia) in the MID (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), 1974-1978. USSR Ambassador to Angola, 197883.

Head of the 5th European Department in the MID (Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, Rumania and Yugoslavia). Deputy Foreign Minister of the USSR from December 1985. Candidate member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

Religion

Religion is bad because it doesn't give equal treatment to women and thus offends basic human rights.
