Vadim Ivanovich studied at the Moscow Institute of Railway Transport (1945-1948). He graduated from the history department of Moscow State University (1952).
Career
Vadim Ivanovich was a researcher at the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (since 1956). He was a specialist in the history of Russia XVI-XVII centuries. An author of the books: "The enslavement of the peasants and the class struggle in Russia in the second half of the 16th century" (Moscow, 1970), "Formation of serfdom and the First Peasant War in Russia" (Moscow, 1975), "History of the Russian chronicle of the second half of the 16th - early XVII centuries" (Moscow, 1986). A compiler of the collection of documents "The Peasant War in Russia at the Beginning of the 17th Century" (Moscow, 1981).
