Graduated Armenian Lyceum, Venice, and Milan Academy, of Arts.
1907-1913 toured Europe, Africa and Near East. 1913-1917 performed with troupes in Yerevan, Tiflis and Baku, in Russia and abroad. 1917-1955 toured USSR.
Acted at Moscow Academy Maly Theater and Leningrad Pushkin Academy Drama Theater, etc. Some of his best roles are: name parts in “Othello”, “King Lear” and “Hamlet”. Franz and Karl Moor in Schiller’s “Die Rauber”.
Akosta in “Uriel Akosta”. Arbenin in Lermontov’s “Maskarad” (Masquerade), etc.
