He was born in Kajaran, Armenia. In 1999, he was admitted to the post-graduate course at the Institute of Economic Research of the Ministry of Finance and Economy at Research Associate. He was the president of the AVSAF, Limited council in 1999. From 2000 to 2002, he worked as the Head of the Monitoring unit of the Monitoring and Audit Department of Ministry of State Property Management of Republic of Armenia.
From 2003 to 2004 he worked as an Executive Director of Zangezur Mining Company.
He was elected as a deputy from constituent district Number. 52 on June 13, 2004. In the 2007 elections, he was elected to the NA from electoral district #38.
Views
In 2003 he defended a scientific thesis and received a Candidate of Science degree in Economics.
Membership
He is a member of the Republican Party of Armenia and is on the Standing Committee on Financial-Cr, Budgetary and Economic Affairs. He is not a member of any faction or deputy group.
