Career
Assistant coach on the Lithuanian national team This year, 2009/2010, head coach for UNICS Kazan in Russia. As a 192 cm (6"3¾") tall point guard he is best remembered as the captain from the "golden years" of Žalgiris Kaunas by winning three consecutive Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics League championships against the rival CSKA Moscow in 1985–1987.
His former teams include Žalgiris Kaunas, Forum Valladolid, Computer-assisted instruction Zaragoza.
He also has played in Italy for Aprimatic Bologna (Serie A2) in the 1990–1991 season. He last played for Olimpas Žemaitija during the 1996–1997 season.
