Valentin Enev Brimkov

Background

Brimkov was born on February 20, 1959 in Malomir, Burgas, Bulgaria; the son of Enyo Valchev Brimkov and Yanka Zlateva (Dimitrova) Brimkov.

Education

Brimkov received a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Sofia University in 1989.

Career

Brimkov began his career as a researcher at Laboratory of Applied Mathematics in 1984 and held the position for a year. In 1988, he became a programmer at the Center for Accelerated Application. In 1996 Valentin became an associate professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He is a visiting professor at the University of Mining and Geology.

• Brimkov is known for his publications, including "Integrating Open Educational Resources Into Undergraduate Business Courses", "Optimal conditions for connectedness of discretized sets", "Teaching Decision-Making in Multiple Dimensions" and others.
