Valery Efimovich Gusakov graduated from the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (1957-1962) and the Academy of Foreign Trade with a degree in economics in international relations (1977-1980).
Valery Efimovich Gusakov began his career as a worker-distributor of the plant PO Box № 2407 in 1956, where he worked for a year before enter Moscow Institute of Urban Construction Engineers.
After graduation all his activities were connected with construction. Working as a master, foreman, senior foreman in the Construction Department № 36 of Trust Mosstroy No.1 of Glavmosstroy (1962-1965), he was a participant in the mass housing estate of Moscow. From 1971 to 1973 Valery Efimovich worked as the chief engineer of the trust Mosfundamentstroy No.1, and from 1973 to 1979 as a trust manager of Mosstroy No.1, which operated in Chertanovo, Northern Chertanovo, Zyuzino and other areas.
As a head of a group of Soviet specialists, a chief engineer of construction, he participated in the construction of the town of Aria-Sharh and a metallurgical plant in the city of Isfahan (Iran) (1969-1971).
After graduating from the full-time department of the All-Union Academy of Foreign Trade, Valery Efimovich worked in the State Committee for Economic Relations of the USSR (1980-1988) as a director of the All-Union Bureau Stroypodryexport, head of the Department for Capital Construction and Exploitation of the Offices of State Committee for Economic Relations of the USSR . He participated in the construction of a metallurgical plant in Nigeria, gas pipelines in Algeria and Libya, elevators and irrigation systems in Iraq, a thermal power plant in Algeria, which were built with the participation of specialists from the Moscow City Executive Committee. In 1988-1991 Valery Efimovich worked first as Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate for the Construction of Foreign Objects of Glavzarubezhstroy of Minyugstroi USSR, and then as Head of the Department for External Relations of the USSR State Construction Committee. Valery Efimovich headed the Joint-Stock Company Usad'ba-Center in 1992.
Currently Gusakov continues to work in the JSC Usad'ba-Center as a general director.Also he heads the construction of the second stage of the Cultural and Business Center and manages a construction of commercial center.
The project of the Cultural and Business Center one of the authors of which is Gusakov was presented by the Government of Moscow at the International Real Estate Conference in Cannes (France). The project was awarded a 2nd degree diploma among 75 selected projects from different countries of the world.
