Career
A 6"2", 193-pounds, safety from Baylor University, McElroy played in nine NFL seasons from 1982 to 1990 for the Raiders and Seattle Seahawks. McElroy"s son, Video Jockey McElroy followed in his father"s footsteps in 2007 as a freshman defensive back for the Baylor Bears. McElroy is currently an agent representing professional players in contract negotiations.
McElroy now resides in Uvalde, Texas.
