Vasil Revyako was born on July 15, 1948 at the village of Rabets, Gomel region, at that time USSR, into a family of kolkhoz workers. The family had 7 children.

Vasil Revyako was born on July 15, 1948 at the village of Rabets, Gomel region, at that time USSR, into a family of kolkhoz workers. The family had 7 children.
In 1968, Vasil Revyako graduated from Rechitsa State Agrarian College, and in 1975 – from Grodno Agrarian Institute (today’s Grodno State Agrarian University), and later studied at the Academy of Social Sciences of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (political scientist, teacher of socio-political disciplines).
Upon graduation, he served in the Soviet Armed Forces. Since 1968, he worked as a zootechnician-selectionist at the kolkhoz (collective farm) “Zaozerye” in the Gomel region. From 1975 to 1985, Revyako was chief zootechnician, secretary of the political party association, and deputy Head of the kolkhoz “Progress” of the Grodno region. In “Progress”, Revyako met its chairman Alexander Dubko, who made him the head of the farm and later appointed him chief specialist.
In 1985, he became instructor of the Grodno regional committee of the Communist Party of Belarus. From 1985 to 1991, Vasil worked as the first secretary of the Mosty regional committee of the Communist Party of Belarus. Under his leadership, Mosty region became one of the best in the Republic. From 1991, he began to work as the first deputy chairman and then chairman of the agricultural collective enterprise "Progress" in the Grodno region.
Since 1995 – chairman of the agricultural collective cooperative “Progress-Vertelishki.”
Currently, Revyako is the Deputy of the Grodno Oblast Council of Deputies of the twenty-sixth convocation, member of the standing commission on agrarian issues and environmental protection, Deputy of the of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, member of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of Belarus on international relations and national security.
