1927-1930 modeller’s apprentice, then modeller, metal products plant. 1930-1937 exec Communist Youth League work. 1937-1939 teacher, then director, secondary school.
Head, rayon educational department, Orenburg Oblast. 1939-1941 worked for Orenburg Oblast All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Committee. 1941 secretary, Orenburg Oblast All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) Committee.
1941-1946 political work in Soviet army. 1947-1956 secretary, then second secretary, Orenburg Oblast Communist Party of the Soviet Union Committee. 1957-1961 first secretary, Karachayevo-Cherkessk Oblast Communist Party of the Soviet Union Committee, Stavropol’ Kray.
From 1961 first secretary, Astrakhan' Oblast Communist Party of the Soviet Union Committee. From 1961 candidate member, Central Committee, Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Deputy, Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic Supreme Soviet of 1955 and 1959 and Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Supreme Soviet of 1962 and 1966 convocations.
Member, Commission for Public Education, Sciences and Culture, Soviet of the Union.
