Graduate General Staff Academy.
1904-1905 fought in RussoJapanese War. From 1911 instructor, then professor, General Staff Academy. During World War 1 commanded army corps, then 5th Army.
After 1917 October Revol arrested and imprisoned for a while for refusing to carry out orders of Soviet supreme commander in chief Krylenko. Joined anti-Soviet groups in Moscow - "Rightist Center, then "League for the Renaissance of Russia”. Member, joint military bd of these two groups (General Tsitovich, Admiral Nemtts and Boldyrev himself).
September 1918 one of five members of anti-Soviet Provisional All-Russian Government (Ufa Directorate) and supreme commander in chief of its armed forces. November 1918, after Admiral Kolchak’s coup, moved to Japan. 1920 returned to Vladivostok and held senior military posts with antiSov government of Maritime Oblast Land Administration, then with coalition government of Far Eastern Republic, consisting of Communists and reps of democratic groups.
1921 joined Far Eastern Democratic League, founded under Japanese occupation, and sided with left wing of Maritime People's Assembly. November 1922, after Soviet occupation of Vladivostok, arrested and imprisoned in NovoNikolaevka Prison. Amnestied after professing his willingness to serve Soviet regime.
1925 published book Direktoriya, Kolchak, interventy (The Directorate, Kolchak and the Interventionists). 1926 worked for Siberian Planning Commission.
Religion is bad because it divides people, and is a cause of conflict and war.
The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
