Befor 1917 October Revol made several trips abroad and worked at clinics in Austria, Germany and France. 1923-1950 head, 1950-1959 consultant, Chair of Children’s Diseases, 1st Moscow University (1st Moscow Medical Institute).
Did research on the effect of scarlet fever and other acute infections of the vegetative nervous system. Established the genetic link between scarlet fever, rheumatism and endocarditis. Described endocrine diseases in children.
Devised endocrinopathie classification which found recognition both in the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics and abroad. From 1936 chairman, Committee for the Study of Infantile Rheumatism. Delivered proof of the infection-allergy theory of the origin of rheumatism and made an extensive study of early forms.
