TOPORKOV, Vasiliy was born in 1889.
Graduated St. Petersburg Theatrical School.
1909 made debut at St. Petersburg People’s House Theater. 1909-1914 at theater of St. Petersburg Literature and Arts Society. 1919-1927 at F. A. Korsch’s Theater, Moscow.
Since 1927 at Moscow Gorky Arts Theater. Roles: Vanechka, in V. Kataev’s “Rastratchiki” (The Embezzlers). Myshlaevsky, in M. Bulgakov’s “Dni Turbinykh” (The Days of the Turbins).
Chichikov, in Gogol's “Mertvye dushi” (Dead Souls). Orgon in Moltere’s “Tartuffe”. Beresta, in Korneychuk’s “Platon Krechet’’.
