1930-1942 lectured at Chair of Construction Mechanical, Higher Construction Engineer College. 1930-1951 also at Centr Research Institute of Indiana Structures. From 1931 also professor, Moscow’s Kuybyshev Construction Engineer Institute.
Specialized in calculation and design of thin-walled spatial shell-type systems for industry and military objects (industry buildings, hangars and covered slips). Ran seminar on construction mech, elasticity theory and theory of plasticity at Institute of Mechanical, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Sciences. Chairman, Theory of Structures Section, Commission for Construction Problems, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Sciences.
